Anaal Nathrakh: Vanitas LTD | CLR version on vinyl LP in limited colored edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Candlelight Records in cooperation with Spinefarm Records on 8. September 2023.
Anaal Nathrakh is a British black metal band formed in Birmingham in 1999 by multi-instrumentalist Mick Kenney and vocalist Dave Hunt. Their Irish name, inspired by the 1981 John Boorman film "Excalibur", comes from the English "Merlin's Charm of Making" and means snake breath (anal nathrach) in German. Already in 1999 they recorded two demos, which they later released as an album. In total, the band has released ten studio albums, one EP and one compilation album. Anaal Nathrakh are still praised for blending elements of grindcore, black metal, death metal, industrial and other genres. In 2009 the band signed a record deal with Candlelight Records and released their fifth studio album "In the Constellation of the Black Widow", their sixth LP album "Passion" in 2011 and their seventh album "Vanitas" in 2012.
