ABBA : Super Trouper is an album released by the Swedish pop group ABBA in 1980. The album was produced by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus and contains the singles "The Winner Takes It All", "Super Trouper" and "Lay All Your Love on Me". "The Winner Takes It All" became a big international hit and was the band's eighth and final number one single in their native Sweden. "Super Trouper" was also successful, reaching the top five in several countries. "Lay All Your Love on Me" was less successful, but still reached the top twenty in several countries. ABBA : Super Trouper received mixed reviews from music critics. Some praised the album's production and the group's vocal performances, while others felt that the album was too similar to their previous recordings. The album was commercially successful, reaching the top five in several countries and selling over five million copies worldwide. It was certified platinum in the United States and gold in the United Kingdom.
