"A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" is the thirteenth LPm album by Pink Floyd. Originally released on September 7, 1987, it was the band's first studio album after Roger Waters left the band in December 1985. The eleven songs were mostly written by David Gilmour, who was also responsible for production along with Bob Ezrin. Recording took place at Gilmour's Astoria studio on a houseboat and at Mayfair Studios in London. The title "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" is a line from the song "One Slip", which is on the full-length album. The album reached number three in the UK and US and even reached number two in Germany.
