Polygram started to re-release good selling Island records in a "Mid-Price" series with the IMCD prefix, starting with IMCD 1.
Releases before the PolyGram takeover do not have the IMCD catalogue number prefix.
IMCD 1 to IMCD 71 were first issued in 1989,

In 2000 the label was re-modeled and renamed to Island Remasters.
