Euphoria Records

Euphoria Records

Euphoria Records has been synonymous with underground dance music in America since its inception in 1996. Primarily the artist label for producers Adam Collins and Marky Star (Omni A.M.) and later joined by Corey Labadie, Euphoria’s sound challenged the strict conventions of what defined House music during the late ‘90s. The labels first releases drew heavily from Chicago’s early days of moody Acid House and emerging dance music from South London and San Francisco. With early records like Omni A.M. - Seducing Reality and Omni A.M. - Keep Doing That (dark, chugging, hard, deep, psychedelic House), Euphoria Records quickly achieved cult status, finding its way into the crates of such influential DJs as Derrick Carter, “Evil” Eddie Richards, and Terry Francis. Concurrently, Beat Dis (a break-beat salute to dance culture) landed on Lee Burridge & Craig Richards’ (Tyrant DJs) prestigious Tyrant - No Shoes, No Cake mix for Fabric Records. These collaborations (as well as many others) with some of the best known artists of the genre, including Mark Ambrose, Swag Records and hip-house legend Tyree Cooper, have led to the recognition of Euphoria Records as one of the American innovators of what is now celebrated as Tech House.
