Third World is a Jamaican reggae band that was formed in 1973. The group has been one of the longest-lived reggae bands of all time, and they are known for fusing reggae with elements of R&B, funk, pop, and rock. Third World gained international fame in the 1970s and 1980s with hits like "Now That We Found Love," "96 Degrees in the Shade," and "Try Jah Love," a song co-written and produced by Stevie Wonder. The band's self-titled debut album "Third World" was released in 1976, which helped establish their reputation as talented musicians capable of blending different genres into their reggae roots.
