The New Mastersounds are a British four-piece jazz fusion and funk band that originated in Leeds, England, in the late 1990s. The group consists of Eddie Roberts on guitar, Simon Allen on drums, Pete Shand on bass guitar, and Joe Tatton on keyboards. They are known for their energetic live performances and a sound that draws heavily from the 1960s and 1970s funk and soul jazz. The band has built a dedicated following over the years with their blend of sharp musicianship and improvisational flair.
