The Pro-Ject LEVEL IT is a simple aid for precise leveling of the turntable on the platter.

The first step to correct operation of the turntable is to sit it horizontally on a solid pad, on which vibrations from the surroundings are not transmitted. Wall-mounted shelves or at least a solid, non-resonating shelf, standing or e.g. a stone slab are ideal. Only with a precisely horizontal turntable can other parameters necessary for the best sound quality, such as vertical force on the stylus, lateral force, etc., be properly set and measured. To adjust the horizontal position of the turntable, a LEVEL IT spirit level is used directly on the turntable platter.
