Untimely Demise is a Canadian thrash metal band formed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in 2006. The band was founded by brothers Matt (guitar/vocals) and Murray Cuthbertson (bass), with the addition of a drummer to complete the trio. They are known for their technical proficiency and have been influenced by classic thrash metal bands as well as elements of death metal. Untimely Demise has built a reputation within the metal community for their aggressive style and has released several albums, including "Full Speed Metal" in 2009, which served as their debut release, followed by "City of Steel" in 2010 and "Systematic Eradication" in 2013. The band has toured extensively to support their albums, sharing stages with well-known acts in the metal genre and gaining recognition for their energetic live performances.
