Psychedelic Rock Band from the 1960s

Ultimate Spinach was an American psychedelic rock band that formed in 1967 in Boston, Massachusetts. They were one of the most notable groups in the "Bosstown Sound," a marketing campaign to promote psychedelic bands from Boston. The band was led by keyboardist and songwriter Ian Bruce-Douglas, and they released their self-titled debut album "Ultimate Spinach" in 1968. The album is known for its blend of psychedelic rock with complex lyrics and themes. They followed up with two more albums, "Behold & See" and "Ultimate Spinach III," before disbanding in 1969. Despite their short-lived career, Ultimate Spinach has since gained a cult following and their music is considered a representation of the psychedelic era in American rock music.
