Trevor Rabin

South African-born rock musician and film composer

Trevor Rabin is a South African-born musician, singer-songwriter, producer, and film composer. He achieved prominence in the 1970s as a member of the rock band Rabbitt before embarking on a solo career that produced several albums, including "Can't Look Away" in 1989. Rabin is perhaps best known for his work with the British progressive rock group Yes during the 1980s and early 1990s. His tenure with Yes was marked by a shift towards a more commercial and pop-oriented sound, with Rabin contributing significantly as a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. The album "90125," released in 1983, featured one of their biggest hits, "Owner of a Lonely Heart," which showcased Rabin's influence on the band's musical direction.
