The Smile

British alternative rock supergroup

The Smile is a musical group formed by Radiohead members Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, along with drummer Tom Skinner from the band Sons of Kemet. The band was first announced in May 2021, and they made their debut performance during a live-streamed event as part of the Glastonbury Festival's Live at Worthy Farm event. The Smile's sound has been described as an amalgamation of the experimental rock elements familiar to Radiohead fans, infused with jazz and electronic influences. The band's formation allowed Yorke and Greenwood to explore new musical territories while still retaining some of the atmospheric qualities associated with their main project.
