The Litter

The Litter

The Litter was an American psychedelic and garage rock band formed in 1966 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are best known for their 1967 debut single "Action Woman," which has become a staple of garage rock compilations and is celebrated for its raw energy and punk precursors. The band's lineup consisted of Dan Rinaldi (guitar), Bill Strandlof (guitar), Denny Waite (vocals), Tom Murray (drums), and Jim Kane (bass). Their first album, "Distortions," released in 1967, included "Action Woman" and showcased their gritty sound influenced by British blues-rock and American garage bands.
