Stefan Lindgren

Swedish Pianist and Composer

Swedish classical pianist and composer, born in 1960. He studied the piano soloist at the Stockholm Academy of Music 1976-80 and received a diploma with a reward token in 1980. Then he continued his studies with a Postgraduate Diploma at the Juilliard School of Music in New York 1981-83. Stefan has performed with most major orchestras in Sweden and has given a large number of piano evenings and chamber music concerts both in Sweden and in cities such as New York, London, Paris and Vienna. He was the Radio Symphony Orchestra's orchestral pianist from 1993 to 2001 and has held a similar position with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra since 2007.
