Belgian Atmospheric Black Metal Duo

Soul Dissolution is a Black Metal project from Belgium, formed in December 2012. After a rst demo in 2014 the band released its debut full-length album in February 2016, entitled “Pale Distant Light”, this album de ned the band’s early sound: a moody, mid-paced form of (post) Black Metal, in uenced by the likes of Alcest, Agalloch Shortly after putting the nishing touches on “Pale Distant Light”, Soul Dissolution went back to the drawing board, aiming to craft a sophomore album which would not only be a worthy follow up, but would also clearly surpass everything they had done until then. The result is a clear step up in both songwriting and production quality. While the Pale Distant Light is a somewhat an introspective work, “Stardust” is de nitely a more straightforward album, four longer songs, lled with powerful ri s and catchy melodies, yet still drenched in melancholic atmosphere. Stardust was mastered at Audiosiege by Brad Boatright who have worked with acts like Obituary, Forgotten Tomb, Wode.
