Emerging Indie Rock Group

Sharks were a British rock band formed in 1972, primarily known for their work in the early 1970s. The group was part of the rock and roll scene that included bands like Dr. Feelgood and featured prominent musicians such as guitarist Chris Spedding, vocalist Snips (Steve Parsons), and bassist Andy Fraser, who was previously a member of Free. Despite their potential and the presence of seasoned musicians, Sharks never achieved widespread commercial success. They released their debut album "First Water" in 1973 and followed up with "Jab It In Yore Eye" in 1974. After a brief period, the band disbanded in the mid-70s.
