Salvador Sobral is a Portuguese singer who gained international recognition after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017 with his song "Amar pelos dois," which was written by his sister, Luísa Sobral. Born on December 28, 1989, in Lisbon, Portugal, Salvador's music is known for its intimate and emotive qualities, often blending jazz with traditional Portuguese music. Prior to his Eurovision victory, he studied psychology but later pursued music at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona. His debut album, "Excuse Me," was released in 2016 and showcased his unique vocal style and artistic sensibility.
