Robyn Hitchcock

Robyn Hitchcock

British alternative rock singer-songwriter

Robyn Hitchcock is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist, known for his eclectic and surreal body of work. Born on March 3, 1953, in London, he first emerged as the frontman of the neo-psychedelic band The Soft Boys in the late 1970s. After they disbanded in 1981, Hitchcock launched a prolific solo career that has spanned several decades. His music blends elements of folk, rock, and psychedelia with a distinctly British quirkiness. His lyrics are often infused with humor, characterized by imaginative and bizarre imagery.
