Pioneering California Punk Rock Band

Rhino 39 was a punk rock band that emerged from the Southern California punk scene in the late 1970s. They were part of the first wave of punk bands in the Long Beach and Los Angeles areas. The band was known for their energetic live performances and for being contemporaries with other influential punk acts of the time. Rhino 39's original lineup consisted of Dave Dacron on vocals, Larry Parrot on guitar, Mike Patton on bass, and Jimmy Decker on drums.
