Putrid Offal is a French death metal/grindcore band that has been active in the extreme metal scene since their formation in the early 1990s. Known for their gruesome and macabre lyrical content, as well as their intense and brutal sound, Putrid Offal quickly established themselves within the underground metal community. After releasing a series of demos and splits in their early years, the band went on hiatus before making a comeback. Their album "Mature Necropsy," which came out in 2015, was particularly notable as it marked the band's return with re-recorded versions of their early material alongside new tracks. This release was followed by "Anatomy" and "Sicknesses Obsessions," which continued to showcase their relentless style and dedication to the genre.
