Ondřej Hejma is a Czech musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the frontman of the band Žlutý pes (Yellow Dog), which he founded in 1987. The band is recognized for its blend of rock, blues, and country music. Hejma's career in music spans several decades, during which he has made significant contributions to the Czech music scene. Prior to forming Žlutý pes, Hejma was a member of the band Jasná Páka, which was later renamed Hudba Praha. His work with Žlutý pes has been well-received, and the band has released numerous albums over the years. In addition to his musical endeavors, Ondřej Hejma is also known for his work as a journalist and translator.
