The Nina Hagen Band was a German punk and new wave band led by the charismatic and eclectic singer Nina Hagen. Formed in the late 1970s in West Berlin, the band quickly made a name for itself with its unique blend of punk rock energy, theatrical performance, and Hagen's operatic vocal style. Their self-titled debut album "Nina Hagen Band," released in 1978, was a critical success and is considered a seminal record in the German punk movement.
