Nattefrost is primarily known as the solo project of the Norwegian musician Roger Rasmussen, who is also the frontman of the black metal band Carpathian Forest. Nattefrost differs from Rasmussen's work with Carpathian Forest, as it explores a more personal and experimental approach to black metal, often incorporating punk and rock influences. The project was initiated in 2003, and since then, Nattefrost has released several albums and EPs that showcase Rasmussen's raw and unfiltered take on extreme music. The lyrics often delve into themes of misanthropy, anti-religion, and personal expression.
