Nap Eyes

Nap Eyes

Canadian Indie Rock Band

Nap Eyes is an indie rock band hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The group is known for their contemplative lyrics and a blend of folk-influenced melodies with a lo-fi rock sensibility. The band was formed in 2011 and consists of vocalist and guitarist Nigel Chapman, guitarist Brad Loughead, bassist Josh Salter, and drummer Seamus Dalton. Nap Eyes gained critical acclaim with the release of their second album, "Thought Rock Fish Scale," in 2016, which showcased their introspective songwriting and minimalist arrangements. Following this success, they released "I'm Bad Now" in 2018, further solidifying their reputation for crafting thoughtful indie rock with an introspective edge. In 2020, they continued to build on their distinctive sound with the album "Snapshot Of A Beginner," which received positive reviews for its mature songwriting and expanded sonic palette. Throughout their career, Nap Eyes has been praised for their intellectual approach to music and their ability to weave philosophical themes into their songs.
