My Chemical Romance is an American rock band from Newark, New Jersey, formed in 2001. The band's lineup consists of lead vocalist Gerard Way, guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero, and bassist Mikey Way. They are known for their unique blend of alternative rock, punk, and emo sounds. The group signed to Eyeball Records and released their debut album "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love" in 2002. They achieved commercial success with their second album "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge," released in 2004, which went platinum. The band's third album, "The Black Parade," released in 2006, further cemented their status in the rock scene with its concept-driven themes and was also certified platinum.
