British Electronic Ethno-Industrial Artist

Muslimgauze was the solo project of British electronic musician Bryn Jones, who was prolific in his output with a career spanning from the early 1980s until his untimely death in 1999. His music was heavily influenced by Middle Eastern and North African music styles, as well as the political situations in these regions, particularly the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Despite never having visited the Middle East, Jones was deeply affected by the events occurring there and channeled his political activism into his music. Muslimgauze's sound is characterized by its fusion of traditional ethnic music with experimental electronica, often featuring complex percussion, atmospheric textures, and sometimes abrasive sonic elements.
