British Experimental Folk Duo

LUMP is a musical collaboration between British singer-songwriter Laura Marling and Mike Lindsay, the founding member of the band Tunng. The project blends Marling's folk-inspired vocals with Lindsay's electronic production, creating a sound that is both experimental and accessible. LUMP released their self-titled debut album in 2018, which included the single "Curse Of The Contemporary." The duo's work has been characterized by its dreamy and surreal atmosphere, with lyrics that often explore themes of nature, humanity, and the subconscious. Following the success of their first album, LUMP continued their partnership and released a second album titled "Animal" in 2021. The project has been well-received for its innovative approach to merging different musical styles and the distinct creative chemistry between Marling and Lindsay.
