Luigi Gazzotti

Luigi Gazzotti was born in Modena in 1886. Following the musical passion of his father , Gazzotti attended the music school in Bologna and in 1913 received his composer's diploma. In the same year his composition is performed at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa , the beginning of a career that not even the outbreak of the First World War could slow . Gazzotti produces a considerable amount of compositions and lyrical dramas in the early 20 begin to be represented in the Italian theaters . However during this period a serious lung disease begins to undermine his artistic work ; Luigi Gazzotti dies on January 13th of 1923 .
