Klaxons are a British band that gained prominence in the mid-2000s as part of the nu-rave movement, which combined elements of indie rock and electronic music. The band consists of Jamie Reynolds, James Righton, and Simon Taylor-Davis. They released their debut album, "Myths of the Near Future," in 2007, which won the Mercury Prize for best album that year. Following their successful debut, they released "Surfing the Void" in 2010 and "Love Frequency" in 2014. Known for their energetic live performances and distinctive blend of rock and electronic sounds, Klaxons have made a significant impact on the UK music scene. However, they announced an indefinite hiatus following their tour at the end of 2014.
