Baroque Belgian Composer and Violinist

Joseph Hector Fiocco (1703–1741) was a composer, violinist, and harpsichordist of the Baroque period. Born in Brussels, he was part of a musically talented family of Italian descent. Fiocco is best known for his chamber music and sacred compositions. His most famous work is probably "Lamentations du Jeudi Saint," which showcases his skill in vocal writing and his ability to blend French and Italian musical styles.
