Jeremiah Fraites is an American musician and songwriter, best known as the drummer and co-founder of the indie folk band The Lumineers. Born on January 17, 1986, in Ramsey, New Jersey, Fraites formed The Lumineers in 2005 with childhood friend Wesley Schultz, who is the band's lead vocalist and guitarist. The band gained significant attention with their self-titled debut album in 2012, which included the hit single "Ho Hey." Their music is characterized by its raw, emotional energy and has been described as a blend of heart-swelling stomp-and-clap acoustic rock, classic pop, and front-porch folk.
