Argentinian Classical Pianist

Ingrid Fliter is an Argentine classical pianist who has established a reputation for her interpretations of the works of Frédéric Chopin and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, among other composers. Born in Buenos Aires in 1973, Fliter began her piano studies in Argentina and continued her education in Europe at the Freiburg Musikhochschule and the Piano Academy at Lake Como. She gained international prominence after being awarded the silver medal at the 2000 International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. Her career further blossomed when she was named a Gilmore Artist in 2006, an award given every four years to an exceptional pianist regardless of their age or nationality.
