Gym Class Heroes is an American band from Geneva, New York, that blends elements of hip-hop, rock, and funk to create a unique sound that has resonated with fans across multiple genres. Formed in 1997, the band consists of lead vocalist Travie McCoy, guitarist Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo, bassist Eric Roberts, and drummer Matt McGinley. They gained mainstream recognition with their 2005 album "The Papercut Chronicles," which includes the hit single "Cupid's Chokehold." Their follow-up album, "As Cruel As School Children," released in 2006, further cemented their place in the music industry with tracks like "Clothes Off!!" and the gold-certified "Cupid's Chokehold."
