Greg Lake & Gary Moore

British Progressive Rock Icon and Irish Blues-Rock Guitar Virtuoso

Greg Lake was an English musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as a member of the progressive rock bands King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP). Born on November 10, 1947, Lake gained prominence as the bassist and lead vocalist for King Crimson on their groundbreaking debut album "In the Court of the Crimson King" in 1969. He later joined forces with keyboardist Keith Emerson and drummer Carl Palmer to form ELP in 1970, becoming one of the leading groups in the progressive rock genre throughout the 1970s. The band was known for their elaborate live shows and ambitious concept albums. Lake contributed as a vocalist, bassist, and producer for ELP until their initial disbandment in 1979.
