Grade 2

Grade 2

Canadian Childrens Music Ensemble

Grade 2 is a punk rock band from the Isle of Wight, England, formed in 2013. The band consists of Sid Ryan (bass guitar and vocals), Jack Chatfield (guitar and vocals), and Jacob Hull (drums). They are known for their energetic performances and music that harks back to the classic punk sound of the 1970s and 1980s. Grade 2 signed with Hellcat Records, a label founded by Tim Armstrong of Rancid, which has helped them reach a wider audience. Their album "Break The Routine" was released in 2017, showcasing their ability to blend traditional punk influences with a fresh, modern edge. Following up with "Graveyard Island" in 2019, they continued to establish their presence in the punk scene. The band also released an acoustic version of this album titled "Graveyard Island: Acoustic Sessions," which offered a different take on their typically high-energy sound. Grade 2 has been touring extensively, building a reputation for their commitment to the DIY ethos and maintaining a close connection with their fans.
