Funeral For A Friend is a Welsh post-hardcore band that was formed in Bridgend in 2001. The band's music has been characterized by a blend of post-hardcore, emo, and melodic hardcore styles. They quickly gained prominence within the UK rock scene with their debut EP "Between Order And Model" in 2002, which showcased their early sound and garnered them a dedicated following. Their subsequent albums, including the critically acclaimed "Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation" (2003) and "Hours" (2005), solidified their position as one of the leading bands in the post-hardcore genre. "Hours" in particular featured a more polished sound and contained some of their most well-known tracks, such as "Streetcar" and "History."
