Experimental Indie Rock Band

Enon was an indie rock band formed in 1999 by John Schmersal, Rick Lee, and Steve Calhoon after the disbandment of Schmersal's previous group, Brainiac, due to the tragic death of its frontman Tim Taylor. The band was known for its eclectic blend of punk rock, new wave, and electronic music. After their initial formation, Enon released their debut album "Believo!" in 2000 to critical acclaim. Throughout their career, they underwent several lineup changes with Schmersal being the only constant member. Toko Yasuda, formerly of Blonde Redhead and The Lapse, joined the band and became a significant contributor to their sound.
