Energit was a Czechoslovak jazz-rock band formed in the early 1970s. The group was led by guitarist Luboš Andršt, a prominent figure in the Czech jazz and blues scene. Energit's music was characterized by a fusion of jazz, rock, and funk, with a strong emphasis on improvisation and instrumental prowess. The band's self-titled debut album "Energit" was released in 1973 and showcased their innovative approach to the genre. They followed up with "Piknik" in 1978, which continued to build on their reputation for energetic and complex compositions.
