Damnation Army (Sweden) was formed in 2002 by sole member Thomas Nyholm (guitars, bass, drums & vocals) and released the first 2 demos in 2003 (Towards Damnation and Misanthropic Satanarchy) on the label God Is Myth Records (USA). In 2004 the first full length album was released on the same label on CD in 500 copies and was later licensed for cassette on Metallatria Distro (Malaysia). In 2006 Damnation Army was signed to Mascot Records (Netherlands) and got worldwide distribution with the record Tyrant and later on released in 2009 the album ”Circle Of The Brave” on the same label. After a 10 year hiatus Damnation Army recorded a new album ”Death Macabre”, 2019 and is so far an independent self release available only digitally on bandcamp.
