Alien Sex Fiend is a British gothic rock band that was formed in London in 1982. The group quickly became known for their dark, electronic-infused sound and their flamboyant, horror-themed stage shows, which were heavily influenced by the gothic aesthetic. The band was founded by Nik Fiend (Nick Wade) and Mrs. Fiend (Christine Wade), who have remained the core members throughout its history. Alien Sex Fiend became a prominent act in the gothic scene with their debut album "Who's Been Sleeping in My Brain?" released in 1983. They gained a cult following with subsequent releases like "Acid Bath" (1984) and "Maximum Security" (1985), which showcased their ability to blend punk energy with electronic experimentation.
