Alias

Alias was a Canadian rock band formed in the late 1980s. The group was a collaboration of two former members of the popular band Sheriff, vocalist Freddy Curci and guitarist Steve DeMarchi. Alias is best known for their hit single "More Than Words Can Say" from their self-titled debut album released in 1990. The song was a significant success, reaching number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The band's sound was characterized by melodic rock with an emphasis on power ballads, which were popular during that era. Despite their initial success, Alias disbanded in the early 1990s but briefly reunited in the early 2000s and again in 2009.
