30 Seconds to Mars is an American rock band formed in 1998 in Los Angeles, California. Fronted by lead vocalist and actor Jared Leto, along with his brother Shannon Leto on drums, the band achieved international fame with their second album, "A Beautiful Lie," which was released in 2005. The album produced several successful singles, including "The Kill" and "From Yesterday," and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Their subsequent albums, "This Is War" (2009) and "Love Lust Faith + Dreams" (2013), continued their success with a blend of alternative rock and progressive elements.
