Contraband is the debut album by Velvet Revolver. The American hard rock supergroup, consisting of Guns N' Roses members Slash (solo guitar), Duff McKagan (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Matt Sorum (drums, backing vocals) and Dave Kushner (rhythm guitar, ex-Wasted Youth) and vocalist Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots). Scott Weiland wrote great lyrics and Slash's guitar stands on its own. The album yielded 4 hits, two of which reached number one: Slither and Fall to Pieces.
