Ten years and four albums later, Slash and Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators (SMKC) will not let any obstacle - not even a global pandemic - stop them. The band announced today, Oct. 22, that its new album, titled "4," will be released on Feb. 11, 2022 via Gibson Records in partnership with BMG. "4" is Slash's fifth solo album and fourth with his band, which includes Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums), Todd Kerns (bass and vocals) and Frank Sidoris (guitar and vocals). A nimble rock album with catchy guitar hooks and captivating melodies, big choruses and even bigger riffs; "4" is a direct link to the earlier work of Slash and Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, which the band demonstrates perfectly in the opening track, the first single "The River Is Rising". For the recording of "4", Slash and the band traveled together across the country to Nashville to record at the historic RCA Studio A with producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, John Prine, Jason Isbell, Brandi Carlile), revealing a stunning new sound and style recorded live in the studio. Cobb shared the band's desire to record the songs live in the studio, including guitar solos and vocals, a first for the band.
