Vanilla Fudge was an American rock band from the 1960s. They are best known for their heavy, psychedelic rock sound. Their debut album Vanilla Fudge , released in 1967, was a huge success. The album was a mixture of cover versions and original songs and included the hit singles "You Keep Me Hangin' On" and "Take Me for a Little While". The band broke up in 1970, but reunited in 1984 and continued to tour and record new music.
