Travis: 12 Memories version on vinyl LP in Standard edition. This particular edition was published in Europe in publishing company Craft Recordings in cooperation with Independiente on 13. August 2021.

It wasn't just Elton John who said that "12 Memories" "...takes you on a real journey...like the Beatles' "Revolver"." Like the Beatles in 1966, Travis found themselves at a critical moment as they prepared to record their fourth album. Coldplay embarked on a trajectory modeled after the songwriting era of Travis' "The Man Who" while frontman Fran Healy secretly battled depression. With the Iraq War raging in the background, the band began to focus on social issues when writing songs, such as "Re-Offender," which dealt with domestic violence, and "The Beautiful Occupation," which was inspired by the U.S. invasion of Iraq. If "Love Will Come Through" was more akin to the Travis of old, it was filtered through the darkness that defined much of "12 Memories," with the album as a whole taking on a touch of electronica and the band taking off with a harder edge than before. When the album was released in 2003, it debuted at number 3 in the UK album chart. Craft Recordings is releasing this acclaimed album for the first time on vinyl, pressed at Metropolis Studios in London on heavy black vinyl.
