The compilation, originally released on CD in 1991, has gone multi-platinum worldwide. It stayed in the UK charts for over two years and is one of the best-selling compilations of all time. Tina Turner turns 80 on 26 November, but her career is not over yet and she still has new fans. In March 2018, Tina - The Tina Turner Musical premiered at London's Aldwych Theatre and garnered the best reviews. Radio 4's Front Row said it was "One of the most impressive musicals I've ever seen" and The Times called it "a riotous musical triumph".
