The Rolling Stones, experience rock legends live (2013 recording) The Rolling Stones - British musicians Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts are one of the most successful rock bands in music history! In July 2013, the band performed in front of over 100,000 fans in London's Hyde Park, where they last played in 1969. A recording of the show "Sweet Summer Sun" was subsequently made of two concerts. In just under 120 minutes, fans are treated to a spectacular selection from the Rolling Stones' vast repertoire. With Sweet Summer Sun, the Stones present the actual concert from 2013. The track list is made up of many hits such as Start Me Up, Brown Sugar, Jumpin Jack Flash, Miss You, It's Only Rock 'n' Roll, Gimme Shelter, Doom And Gloom and Sympathy For The Devil, making the new live album Sweet Summer Sun a first class show. Former guitarist Mick Taylor climaxed the show with a performance of "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction". Mick Jagger said: "Great gig, just beautiful at sunset over Hyde Park. There's no better way to celebrate the Rolling Stones 50th birthday than at home in front of 100,000 people on a fabulous summer's evening. Enjoy! We definitely had one!" Keith Richards commented: "Returning to Hyde Park was like coming full circle because the band were at their best. It was clear to us that it couldn't get any better than a great summer in London!" With the new album 'Sweet Summer Sun - Hyde Park Live', new and old fans alike will be able to experience their idols live with their current line-up. The Rolling Stones concert in Hyde Park will be released in an extensive edition on DVD and Blu-ray. The CD and vinyl versions include the DVD as an extra. In addition, a limited deluxe edition including a book and limited edition T-shirts will be released. "Sweet Summer Sun - Hyde Park Live" is the perfect vehicle for concertgoers to relive their fondest memories of Rolling Stones concerts and for fans to experience their idols exactly where they truly belong: back on stage in their hometown.
