Cleopatra is the second studio album by American folk-rock band The Lumineers.It was released on April 8, 2016 by Dualtone Records. The album was produced by Simone Felice, who also produced the band's debut album. The first single from the album, the track "Ophelia", was released on 5 February 2016. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 125,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. It also topped the charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and Australia. In the United States and Canada, Cleopatra went platinum. The album was well received by music critics. On Metacritic, which assigns a standardized rating out of 100 to reviews by mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 81, indicating "universal acclaim". Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic called Cleopatra "a richer and more rewarding album than its predecessor, confirming that the Lumineers are more than a one-hit wonder". He added that on the album "the band expands its sound without sacrificing the rustic charm that made it so popular".
