The Dead South je kanadská bluegrassová skupina z Reginy v Saskatchewanu. Kapela vydala v roce 2014 jedno album Good Company. Album bylo dobře přijato a kapela za něj v roce 2015 získala cenu Canadian Country Music Association pro umělce roku v kategorii Roots. Album má tradiční bluegrassový zvuk, v němž vyniká banjo, mandolína a akustická kytara. Výrazným prvkem kapely jsou také vokální harmonie, na kterých se podílejí všichni čtyři členové. Textově je album z velké části zaměřeno na život v prérii, s písněmi o životě na maloměstě, farmaření a železnici.
